HR in Bangladesh

From the BBC-- some more information about the Chittagong Hill Tracts (see first blog entry).

Also, just a chance to share some footage of Bangladesh with the folks at home!

  1. Hey Cindy! Its Scott Silver '07. I was randomly perusing facebook out of boredom (read- stalking you as usual) and I came across this blog. Wow. I could tell you wanted to break out of you cocoon of sheltered Ohio-ian life and it looks like you have done just that and more. Good for you. I went on a cruise to the Caribbean once, I think. Apparently, this past summer was my “last great summer” and from here on out I only get the standard one-week vacations like real working people…except I still don’t get paid. Oh well.

Unfortunately, I can only understand half of your blog (“ensh'alla, Maoist, Pokhara, hegemony, mélange”). But it’s nice to know you are still alive and haven’t gotten some crazy disease (google Hantavirus).

Ever going back to Cornell? Or the United States at least?

  2. WOW, the scenery is absolutely gorgeous! Too bad the human beings have to be so selfish and violent...

    Take care of yourself.
    Love,
    Aunt J.
